Application Assessment Fee
What the Assessment Fee Covers
Before we commit to a formal engagement, we conduct a thorough review of your business, compliance setup, and cross-border payments operation. This assessment determines whether we can work together and what roadmap makes sense for your goals.
The application assessment fee compensates us for this comprehensive review work.
What's Included
- Application review: We review your initial submission, corporate structure, and business description.
- Flow of funds analysis: We trace where money comes from, how it moves through your system, and where it goes.
- Source of funds verification: We verify that your revenue sources are legitimate and compliant.
- Compliance framework review: We assess your KYC, AML, and sanctions screening procedures.
- Questions and clarification: We send detailed questions to understand your operation fully.
- Internal review: Our team reviews all materials and conducts compliance pre-screening.
- Recommendations: We provide feedback on what's working well and where you need to tighten things up.
Fee Amount and Crediting
The application assessment fee is non-refundable. However, if you move forward with a formal engagement (such as a correspondent banking setup or referral agreement), we'll credit 100% of the assessment fee against your final payment installment—provided the credit is applied within 30 days of your engagement start date.
Why We Charge This Fee
This fee serves an important purpose: it ensures that only serious, qualified prospects move forward. Without it, we'd spend considerable time on initial consultations with businesses that aren't a fit or don't have genuine bandwidth to implement our recommendations. The fee also covers the cost of our compliance expertise and legal review—resources we wouldn't deploy for a free consultation.
Who Pays This
The party requesting the assessment (typically the business or principal) pays this fee. If you're being referred by a partner or affiliate, clarify with them whether they'll cover the assessment or if you'll handle it directly.
Next Steps
If you're ready to move forward, contact us to discuss your situation and the next steps. We'll clarify the assessment fee amount and process before you submit anything.
